About Us

Gavin and Doreen Porter moved to St Antonin Noble Val in
April 2008 with their three cats – Angus, Bella and Kandy.
The couple previously lived and worked in and around London.
Doreen’s career was in communications and journalism in both
the public and private sectors, and Gavin – a chartered
accountant – spent the latter part of his career teaching
accounting. Both French speakers, they are now embarking
on a course to learn Occitan, the ancient language of South
West France.
